Section 1:All about sparkling water makers
Q1:My CO2 cylinder is correctly installed. Now how do I carbonate water using my Shang™ sparkling water maker?
A:1.Put drinking water into the PET bottle up to the Max. water line, then fasten the bottle cap and put the bottle onto the magnetic stand.
2.Press the press-key and let the gas inject down to the bottom of the bottle, till hearing the whistle sound, which means the pressure in the bottle is full and the gas release valve release gas automatically; continuing to press will only waste the CO2 from the cylinder.
3.When gas injection finishes, the bottle can be easily taken out upwards; shake the bottle up-and-down for 3-5 times for better bubbling taste.
4.Slowly untighten the bottle cap to the slow release position; then gently turn the cap to the 2nd  fast release position till the gas inside the bottle is fully released. Gas inside the bottle can be released later whenever it is needed.
5.Open the bottle cap, and the perfect sparkling water is ready!
Q2:Nothing happens when I press the carbonating button on my sparkling  water maker.  Can you help me troubleshoot the issue?

A:1.Troubleshooting suggestions: 11.Make sure the bottle cap is screwed tight.
2. If the gas cylinder is in use for a while, please check and make sure if the CO2 is finished.
3. Ensure that your sparkling water maker is always in an upright position.

Q3:How do I clean my Sparkling Water Maker?

A:Wipe with a damp cloth and use some mild detergent if necessary. Do not use any solvent or abrasive detergent which may corrode the      surfacrface of Soda Machine.
Q4:Do I need a special water system in order to use a 4° Sparkling Water Maker?
A:NO. You may use any type of water that you typically drink at home. However, we do recommend using 4° cold water to achieve best results
Q5: Can Shang carbonate other drinks besides water?
A:Yes. Due to the split structure, Shangria is designed to avoid back flow and thus keeps syrup or fruit pulp from blocking the injector.    Meanwhile, the extra-large bottleneck allows ice and fruit slices to put in.   
Q6:My sparkling water or flavored sparkling water is not fizzy enough.
A:Make use gay cylinder is filled and press the injection key till hearing the whistle sound. Then take out the bottle and shake for 3-5 times.
  Slowly untighten the cap for the two-step gas release.
Q7: How can I make the best sparkling water ever?
A:Use water at 4°C for best sparkling taste. Follow the usage steps in the instruction menu.

Section 2:All about Cylinder
Q1:I hear gas escaping from the cylinder. What should I do?
A:If the cylinder is leaking while the Sparkling Water Maker is not in use, contact our  support team.
Q2:How do I know if my CO2 cylinder is empty? 
A:There are a number of indicators that tell you when your CO2 cylinder is empty: When you press the carbonating button you will not see any gas going into your bottle of water Even after repeated presses your water is not carbonated The carbonator splutters, showing you have run  out of CO2 Pro-tip:
4° recommends keeping a spare CO2 cylinder handy so that when one cylinder runs out, you simply swap the empty cylinder  for a full one. That way, you'll keep enjoying fresh, fizzy drinks without interruption and can exchange the empty cylinder via courier service or in a store near you.
Q3: I'm pressing the carbonating button, but nothing is happening. Help!
A:t sounds like you may be out of CO2. See previous question question "How do I know if my CO2 cylinder is empty?". If that is not the case, please contact our sparkle support team to troubleshoot the issue.

Q4: Can I refill my own CO2 cylinder or have it refilled locally?
A: No, 4° strongly advises against this. 4° licensed CO2 cylinders are filled with beverage-grade CO2 in compliance with exacting FDA standards  for food and beverage safety. Your local filling station may not be in compliance with these standards and could possibly introduce toxins into your CO2.

Furthermore, unauthorized filling machines may cause damage to the cylinder. Damaged cylinders will not be accepted for return by 4°. Any CO2 filling by parties other than 4° authorized filling stations violates the User License.

Q5: Can a different company's CO2 cylinder be used?
A:  No, 4°provides a guarantee only for its own products. We are not responsible for the products of any other company, which may damage the Sparkling Water Maker.

Q6: How often will I have to replace my CO2 cylinder?
A:  This depends on how often you make sparkling water. On average, the cylinder will make up to 50 or 80 liters of sparkling water, depending on the size you have. This number could be more or less depending on the amount of carbonation used when making your drink.We suggest you keep a spare cylinder or two at home so that you can always switch out an empty cylinder for a full one.

Q7: Is it safe to have a CO2 cylinder in my home or kitchen?
A:  Absolutely. 4° cylinders are manufactured to exacting specifications that include many unique safety features to protect consumers. Cylinders are safe at virtually any altitude (our customers in the Swiss Alps can attest to that!) and are specially equipped with a safety valve that will harmlessly release the gas in the unlikely event that the pressure within the cylinder rises above threshold levels.

Please do not expose your cylinder to extreme heat (such as travel in the trunk of a car, or right next to an oven, stove or fireplace.) Please see above for more information on cylinder safety.

Q8: Can I take my cylinder on a plane?
A:  We know it can be hard to leave your sparkling water maker at home, but 4° advises against carrying cylinders on an airplane. The Federal  Aviation Administration (FAA) has restrictions that prohibit compressed gas cylinders in carry-on items as well as in checked baggage.
